Our success is driven by a passionate team of engineers, designers, and manufacturing specialists dedicated to bringing your visions to life.
Chris Relyea
Founder/CEO
Chris Relyea is the consummate tinkerer. Educated in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Electrical Engineering, he finds most scientific endeavors interesting and therefore has no true specially. That being said, he gravitates toward manufacturing as building things is far more useful than simply solving theoretical problems. His mechanical engineering faculty advisor was inspirational as even though his education was in mechanical engineering, he tinkered with biology and genetic engineering and taught that creative problem solving is simplified through application of broad and disparate knowledge.
Chad Sellers
General Manager
Chad has come from engineering and management in the R&D energy sector, specializing in solid oxide fuel cells and electrolyzers. He is very familiar with the upcoming hydrogen economy and the requirements that will come with it. Chad is also a TRIZ expert which has enabled him to help companies achieve their goals in the most efficient way possible. Prior to that, Chad was predominantly in product development and manufacturing in the automotive sector. When not deep in a design, Chad enjoys spending time with friends and family, building and racing cars, and traveling to new places.
Jonathan Evans
Additive Manufacturing Technician
Jonathan Evans has been a valued part of Concept Engineering for over a year. In that time, he’s revitalized our IT infrastructure and expanded his expertise into 3D printing, graphic design, and large-format printing. Outside of work, Jonny enjoys tinkering with computers, diving deeper into IT, and spending time with his partner and their cats.
Tressa Wright
Inventory Controller
Tressa Wright has been part of Concept Engineering for over 12 years, gaining valuable experience across engineering, manufacturing, inventory management, and more. She’s the go-to contact for any purchasing or receiving questions, always ready to help with a smile.
Outside of work, Tressa’s life is delightfully busy on her small 5-acre farm, where she shares her home with two adult sons, a daughter-in-law, two grandkids, a nephew, a fellow co-grandma and a lively collection of animals.
Steve Horner
Production Manager
Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends, and can often be found relaxing on vacation or at the shooting range. At Concept Engineering, he approaches each day’s challenges with focus and dedication, while also devoting time to supporting those in recovery. Guided by his faith, he believes that stepping back and allowing God’s will to lead is his greatest strength.
Tyler Gary
Production Assembler
Tyler Gary takes pride in getting things done and making progress every day at Concept Engineering. For the past eight years, he has been dedicated to building insulation machines for Owens Corning, demonstrating both commitment and consistency in his work. Tyler’s focus, reliability, and strong work ethic reflect not only his skills, but also his passion for contributing to something bigger.
